KC2026 TRANSPORTATION

Through the FIFA Mobility Plan, KC2026 is developing a coordinated transportation plan to accommodate visitors via multimodal options including park-and-ride, bus, streetcar, and bike paths.

IRIS: INDEPENDENCE

IRIS is an on-demand mobility service provided by the City of Independence, in partnership with KCATA, zTrip, and RideCo. IRIS covers the entirety of Independence. Users can book rides for a time they choose via app, phone, or online.

RIDEKC FREEDOM PARATRANSIT

Visitors who are ADA eligible in their home city or have an apparent disability can use RideKC Freedom Paratransit Services for up to 21 days a year. Visitors must contact the RideKC Freedom Regional Eligibility Office prior to utilizing this service.
